I do fear becoming my mother but more because I see her turning more into her mother, who is an awful person. And I wonder if that’s just the curse of our family. I love my mom, but I would never want to go through life thinking the way she does and bottling every thought, feeling or emotion I have up so tight. It ain’t pretty with the cork blows on that, let me tell you! She drags up shit from YEARS ago and I just want to say, “Why didn’t you mention it THEN instead of now when I can’t do anything to fix it??”

Ain’t the holidays grand?

Don’t mean to make light, but what you are saying is oh-so-familiar to me. I go in with the best of intentions and end up wanting to choke my mom. Is it the holiday or just the nature of mothers and daughters?

Hope your dad’s surgery went well! I’m impressed with your productivity. Lemon juice works well in the microwave and doesn’t smell nearly as bad as vinegar.

I’ve never had anything strange happen while taking Ambien…my body freezes into a sleep state and then I literally don’t move for seven hours.

My husband, though…he makes all of these really strange sounds when he takes it (which isn’t often), but it was spooky enough to where I demanded he downgrade to the 6.25 mg tablets.

I have three…one for school, one for the blog and one for personal use. I haven’t sent out a resume in awhile but the last time I did, it was with a totally different email address… firstnamedotlastnameyearofbirth@domain.com.

I’ve got three. One for the blogging side of things. A second for spam and professional which is my first name, (maiden) last name initial and a meaningful number, and a third one that I use for real email with people I know IRL. My facebook and myspace acconts are associated with the third address so that it’s not the same one as on my resume.
